I'm doing my new art project for this year on 90's black/afro culture. My art teacher suggested I use an artist called Jean-Michel Basquiat! I am now SUCH A HUGE FAN of his work! I watched the film based on his life Basquiat which was fantastic. I really got a feel for his art, pure STREET art. Using whatever mediums he could and his imagination. That was it. So inspiring! I did my own rendition of his 'Skull' portrait
